THE ONE RIG TO RULE THEM ALL

The picture above shows the FK and IK slides in the menu to the right. The slides will determine which bone the armes will follow, either the FK or the IK, i will not go inte detail what the difference is but those that want to know more can check it up. These different bones are good for sorts of animation and it is really nice to be able to switch between one and the other easily while animating. The buttons below the sliders shows and hides the FK and IK bones. The sliders and the buttons was made by a custom script and this was what Johannes helped me out with.
The circles and shapes you see around the character are custom shapes for the bones and are what the animators use for controlling the character. All the actual bones are hidden. The rig also feature a really sweet roll bone for the foot that let us make smooth and realistic animations for the foot and helps to avoid foot slides in walk animations for example. Below are some pictures from the animations I have started on. The first one is from the dance that will be shown in the temple when the priest is worshipping you, the god! Below the dance is a sneak peak on the Burial rite animation where you can see the priest sending a dead persons soul onwards to the heavens.
