CREST - WEEKLY UPDATE #3
2 of May, 2014
I've been busy with my little cow, which is more or less finished and ready to be sent flying. Other than that I've worked on the logo some more, it's getting to a finished state. To me the logo is sort of the top of the Christmas tree, a crowning jewel of the experience. So I take a lot of time in designing and polishing it. I also try to make it possible to use the logo in many ways, so it will be able to be used as the desktop icon as well.
Johannes, busy with many things as usual. Mainly focused on our time system, which days people work on and so on. Of course they are free on Sundays.
Roland has been busy with making ambience and feedback audio. The kind you would hear in a city, bustling activity, people arguing, the lot. Here's a screenshot from the Melodyne plugin he uses to correct and/or change pitch.
Christoffer, trudging along in the trenches of character creation! He did a lot of animations earlier this week and has been focusing on more modelling tasks the last days. The workers are slowly but surely getting there.
And lastly Oskar who has been busy with cleaning up the code and make some quick fixes for the test that was conducted earlier today at Campus Gotland. He spent several hours hearing good feedback and have come back tired in body but quickened in spirit! Who knows what will come next?
You want to see the prototype in action? Take a peek below. We hope you take notice of the pink bunkadoos.
Oh, by the way. Among Ripples will be featured on Freedom Friday on Desura next Friday. This also marks the date when our game will be available there. I also want to share a heartfelt thank you to all you people out there who have been involved with spreading the word of Among Ripples. Although we can't live on a good word alone we all feel strengthened by your support. You give us hope to continue. Thanks!
Have a good weekend.
